Meet the Chef Ben Diaz

Guided by the season’s freshest bounty, Chef Ben Diaz has become an expert in elevating classic dishes using techniques that honor ingredients and maximize their flavor. He brings years of expertise to Corkfire Kitchen, from formal training at Le Cordon Bleu and L’Académie Culinaire De France to top toque and consulting positions at several hotels and restaurants in the U.S and beyond. As Executive Chef, he never shies away from a challenge, instead letting the surrounding landscape take the lead—creating uniquely flavorful masterpieces in the process.

Butterfly Habitat Virtual Tour

Located right next to our Chef's Garden and is open all year around. Our Butterfly Habitat is home to all species of butterfly and most notably the endangered Monarch Butterfly. In partnership with Monarch's in the Rough, the program connects and supports superintendents and other golf course staff as they plan, install, and manage habitat projects for the monarch butterfly on their courses. We invite you to tour our habitat with our own Golf Course Superintendent - Brett Wininger
