Temecula Wineries The Temecula Valley is home to 18 wineries producing Award-Winning Premium Wines made possible by a unique microclimate and well-drained decomposed granite soils. An elevation of 1,100 feet makes for cool summer nights, and cooling breezes come through the vineyards every afternoon throughout the summer.	Take I-15 North and exit onto Rancho California Road. Head east and follow the signs to the wineries of your choice.	7 miles
Hot Air Ballooning Temecula's breezy valleys are an ideal setting for hot air ballooning, and the scenery of vineyards below you and the rolling hills all around couldn't be more spectacular. The annual Balloon and Wine Festival is an especially great time to visit.	Meeting point is the main parking lot at Wilson Creek winery. Take I-15 North and exit onto Rancho California Road. Head east for seven miles and find the winery on the left side.	9 miles (to Grape Escape meeting point at Wilson Creek)

Santa Rosa Plateau Wildlife Preserve 8,300 acres of protected ecosystems. Recreational activities include hiking, horse back riding, mountain biking, and interpretive programs.	Take I-15 North to the Clinton Keith Road exit, then head west for 4 miles.	16 miles
Wild Animal Park See an amazing variety of animals in open range enclosures. Don't miss the train ride through the park to get a great look at giraffes, gazelles, rhinos and more.	Take I-15 South to the Via Rancho Parkway exit. Head east and follow the signs to the park.	35 miles
Shopping The Promenade in Temecula. Temecula's own shopping mall with three Department Stores, Edwards Theatre and over 110 specialty shops and restaurants. The mall also has a unique musical food court and a story court designed just for kids. Or spend some time at the Lake Elsinore Outlets. Just north of the Inn in Lake Elsinore you can shop for top name merchandise at extraordinary values.	Take I-15 North to the Winchester Road exit. Head east to find the mall on your right.	4 miles
Old Town Temecula An historical district featuring restaurants, shopping and antiques in an easily walkable setting.	Take Hwy 79 West past I-15. Hwy 79 becomes Front Street, the heart of Old Town Temecula.	3 miles
